Living in the Trans Woman's Body
A group encounter moderated by Lannie Rose
When: Saturday, April 4, 4:30–5:30 pm
Where: San Carlos Room
Trans women come in all shapes, sizes, ages, and races-and we are all beautiful! Sharing intimately with each other about our bodies can be a very empowering experience. This closed-door, clothing-optional workshop is an opportunity for trans women to discuss the special issues unique to our bodies. The format is a group encounter, not a lecture. We can talk about health issues, body image, self-esteem, sexuality, or anything else related to our bodies.
Attendance is restricted to self-identified trans women including pre-op, post-op, non-op, and even pre-transition women. (However, discussion will focus on our post-transition bodies, not transition.) Join us, and know that you are not alone.
Doors will be locked at the beginning of the session, so don't be late!
