Transgender Health Care

When: Friday, April 3, 9:00–10:00 am

Where: San Martin Room

We will discuss medications and recommended medical evaluations for transgender individuals, including children and adolescents, with a focus on preventive health care. Questions and dialogue are welcome.

Jennifer Hastings, MD is a Family Practitioner at Planned Parenthood, Westside in Santa Cruz. She started the Transgender Health Care Program in 2005 and works closely with the Santa Cruz Trans Therapist Team and the Santa Cruz Diversity Center. She helped write the Planned Parenthood Transgender Protocols, and is actively working to expand services for Trans clients.
